Pearl Harbor – The march of time and the enduring promise

The USS Oklahoma photographed at sea, date unknown, during World War I. The ship has been painted with camouflage to protect it from submarines. The Oklahoma was involved in the Dec. 7 attack on Pearl Harbor in which it was sunk by enemy aircraft.
