LEAP Scholars help solidify and strengthen American partnership with Mexican Air Force

LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Staff Sgt. Edgar Bravo, a LEAP Scholar Inter-American Air Forces Academy Instructor, shows a Mexican delegation the use of a virtual reality simulator. This allows users to simulate being at a specific air base of their selection and practice all the techniques to defend and protect their resources.

Being resilient: Air University’s RTF promotes well-being for all service members

In September 2022, the Department of the Air Force unveiled the Spectrum of Resilience to provide a comprehensive listing of available support options for military members and their families. In 2018, Air University established the Resilience Research Task Force involving students from Air Command and Staff College and Air War College. The task force now includes students at Squadron Officer School, which offers it as an advanced research elective, and is sponsored by the office of Air Force Integrated Resilience.

Enrollment window open for 'Introduction to Culture' – Sept. 21-27

CLTR201, Introduction to Culture, is a general education course that fulfills three hours of Institutional (resident) and/or Program Elective credit required for the CCAF Associate of Applied Science degree. The course offers a survey of different aspects of culture (domains, skills, and attitudes), enhancing cross-cultural competency and laying a cultural foundation for Airmen in today’s complex operational environment.
