Air Force transitions from CVR Teams to more secure systems

Ruck march spanning 11 days, 830 miles, honors fallen special tactics Airmen
February 22, 2019 — Twenty special tactics Airmen began an 11-day ruck march at 2 a.m. Feb. 22 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Medina Annex, and will be traveling 830 miles to Hurlburt Field, Florida. Hundreds of Special Tactics (ST) Airmen and Special Warfare trainees gathered early morning to begin an 830-mile ruck march across five states in tribute to U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Dylan J. Elchin, along with 19 other ST Airmen, who have been killed in action since 9/11, Feb. 22, 2019, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Medina Annex.
