National Police Week parade at JBSA-Randolph honors first responders

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, the 902nd Security Forces Squadron invited other first responders to join them in parading through base housing so the community could show their appreciation.

Tet Offensive veterans changed the way security forces operates

Surviving veterans part of the Tet Offensive (Jan. 31, 1968) and their loved ones gathered for a commemoration ceremony and  presentation of the Security Forces Battle Cross to the Security Forces Museum at Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Texas Jan. 31, 2018. Guest speaker retired Col. Bernie DeNisio (Security Police), Silver Star recipient spoke on the events of that operation and how it changed the course of history.
