JBSA Security Forces ready for veterans’ access to JBSA

Members of the 502d Security Forces Group have been working hard to develop procedures that will grant base access to veterans and primary family care givers since the Department of Defense expanded Commissary and Military Service Exchange access as well as Morale Welfare and Recreation facilities and programs.

Veterans not forgotten during the holidays

Five hundred packages were delivered to the San Antonio Military Medical Center and Center for the Intrepid, 200 packages went to the Audie L. Murphy Veteran Affairs Hospital, 200 to the Army Residence Community, 200 to the Wounded Warrior Project, and the remaining 100 went to the Join Base San Antonio-Lackland Fisher House.

Texas C-5M delivers supplies to Puerto Rico

A Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) vehicle is unloaded from an Air Force Reserve Command’s 433rd Airlift Wing C-5M Super Galaxy at Ceiba, Puerto Rico Oct. 1, 2017. The C-5M, flown by Reserve Citizen Airmen from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, took the JISCC, 11 Soldiers,  supplies and two fuel trucks to Puerto Rico to aid hurricane recovery efforts that have affected the United States and its territories  in the Caribbean.
