JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Joint Base San Antonio and the 502nd Air Base Wing will
host an installation-wide expo to showcase the benefits of living and working
in the JBSA community from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at the JBSA-Lackland
Gateway.
The expo will have something for everyone and is open to
all with base access. There will be 34
info booths, three career enhancing seminars for civilians employees and
dependents, and one seminar for all from the Chapel.
There will also be a kids activity center and prizes,
along with the Gateway Club serving their famous Mongolian Pasta Wednesday lunch.

- H.O.P.E. is part of Installation Ministries (IM)
Spiritual Fitness Initiatives. It promotes inspiration and a renewed sense of
hope when dealing with tough issues in life by learning to stay; Hopeful,
Optimistic,
Peaceful and Enthusiastic. We all need a
"shelter" a personal place that we go to find strength and hope.
H.O.P.E. provides to our warriors and their families an opportunity to explore
and find their particular "shelter/source of strength". Come and See;

Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP)

detection Performance Triad (sleep, activity and nutrition)
- Comprehensive plan to improve readiness and increase
resilience through public health initiatives and leadership engagement. The
Triad is the foundation for Army Medicine's transformation to a System for
Health, a partnership among Soldiers, Families, Leaders, Health Teams and
Communities to promote Readiness, Resilience and Responsibility. The System For
Health: MAINTAINS health through fitness and illness/injury prevention,
RESTORES health through patient-centered care, and IMPROVES health through
informed choices in the Lifespace. The focus of the Performance Triad is on
Sleep, Activity, and Nutrition key actions that influence health in the
"Lifespace" of time that isn't spent with a healthcare provider. As a
result, the biggest impact on Health is made by making better choices in our
Lifespace.
MiCare

active duty members, and the JBSA Rideshare Program. Vanpool vans will be positioned in front of
the
club for potential riders to tour.
