Airman's Gate closure map
Beginning Feb. 21, drivers using the Airman's Gate will see a temporary shift in traffic patterns once on base while workers install denial barriers in the outbound lanes. Drivers entering the base must remain in the far right lane because the left inbound lane will be converted to an outbound lane. Drivers will be able to exit the gate on the traditional side of the gate. Work is scheduled to be completed by Feb. 28. Cones will be in place to separate the inbound and outbound traffic. Similar road closures are scheduled for the Air Intelligence Agency Gate Feb. 26 through March 4 and the Bergquist Gate from March 5-11. Although the barriers are typically installed within three to four days, the remaining days are required for the concrete to cure. (Courtesy of the 37th Civil Engineer Squadron)
