RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas –
The 12th Services Division will give back to its customers during their second annual Customer Appreciation Week today through Thursday.
The division hosts numerous specials and discounts throughout the week at the officers' and enlisted clubs, golf course, bowling center, library, fitness center and dining facility.
"This event is meant to thank our customers for their faithful patronage," said Shelta Reese, 12th Services Division Marketing director.
A special Pirate Fest kicks off the week. The event takes place at the officers' club today from 5-11 p.m. A Caribbean buffet will be served from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with $1 drink specials. "The Pirates of the Caribbean" movie will be shown outside the club at 8:30 p.m.
Ms. Reese said the pirate-themed event will have many activities for children young and old alike.
"Impress us with your best pirate costume, see how well you can walk the plank, how low you can go in the limbo contest and how accurately you can throw gold coins with an eye patch on," Ms. Reese said. "We will also be giving away themed prizes, so everyone can join in the fun."
Guests will also receive a treasure map for a chance to win prizes.
"We hope all of our customers will attend the Pirate Fest. Everyone will have a great time eating, swimming, dancing and playing games!" Ms. Reese said.
