Team Randolph kicks off 2007 CFC

By Robert Goetz 12th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs

Team Randolph, which raised more than $1 million in the Combined Federal Campaign last year, launched this year's campaign with a kick off breakfast Wednesday in the officers' club.

The CFC gives military personnel and federal and postal employees an opportunity once a year to contribute to charitable organizations that support human health and welfare. This year's campaign officially begins Monday and continues through Oct. 26.

Gen. William Looney, Air Education and Training Command commander, called the CFC an occasion for AETC's military and civilian personnel to give back to the community.

"Last year you helped make 2006 a record-breaking year for AETC's CFC," he said. "Your contributions made a difference in the lives of many of your friends and neighbors. Our communities are better for it."
