During the behind the scenes tour of basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas, on Oct. 17, spouses of Air Education and Training Command commanders and command chiefs witnessed the initial hair cuts of new trainees at Clipper Cuts. The spouses had the opportunity to participate in tours of numerous BMT activities, including an M-16 trainer weapon and combat skills training demonstration, clothing issue orientation and field training orientation.
