2026 Fiesta San Antonio Military Ambassadors introduced at reception

By Airman 1st Class Kevin Prashad 502d Air Base Wing Public Affairs

The Military Ambassador Reception at the Witte Museum in San Antonio on March 23 formally introduced the 2026 Fiesta San Antonio Military Ambassadors to civic, military and Fiesta communities, reinforcing those partnerships.

Military ambassadors are liaisons between the armed forces and the public, promoting awareness of military life through year-round community engagement. Ambassadors participate in marquee events including the Texas Cavaliers River Parade and Battle of Flowers Parade. The program supports outreach efforts designed to build trust, communication and relationships between service members and local residents.

Selected service members from JBSA serve as military ambassadors, representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard during the city’s annual 11-day Fiesta celebration.  Ambassadors are competitively selected from units across JBSA, typically ranging in grade from E-4 to E-7.
