JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas –
In an era where managing visitor flow and minimizing wait times are paramount to providing exceptional service, the Joint Base San Antonio Visitor Centers will be adopting the Q-Trac virtual queuing system, tentatively beginning March 6.
This technology is set to transform the visitor experience, eliminating the frustration of long lines and allowing for a more personalized and efficient visit for everyone. The Q-Trac system is designed to be intuitive for both customers and staff.
With Q-Trac, the days of standing in a physical queue are over. Visitors can now join a virtual line from anywhere, simply by scanning a QR code, sending a text message, or using on-site kiosks at the JBSA visitor control centers.
Once in the virtual queue, customers will receive real-time updates on their estimated wait time and will be notified via SMS (text) or a mobile app when it's their turn to be served.
The benefits of Q-Trac extend beyond just eliminating lines. The system provides Security Forces with valuable information about visitor needs before the interaction even begins, allowing for a more personalized and efficient service.
