A revised edition of TC 7-21.13, The Soldier’s Guide, is now available to all Soldiers.
Updated after nearly a decade, this edition streamlines core information for Soldier success, reflecting current Army priorities and guidance.
Key changes include a reduction in size from nine to eight chapters, a shift to black and white printing for cost savings, and the removal of redundant information in the 2024 Army Blue Book and TRADOC Pamphlet 600-4.
The revision incorporates updated language regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as current terminology regarding sex. Significantly, the new edition expands coverage of critical modern topics including the AFT, Army IgnitED, Army Leadership principles and models, Career Long Assessments (CLAs), and digital resources.
The Soldier’s Guide remains a vital resource for all Soldiers, supporting professional development and enhancing knowledge of essential Army doctrine and practices.
