JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 433rd Airlift Wing and the 960th Cyberspace Wing lined up to receive their annual flu shot, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, on Nov. 2-3. The 433rd Medical Group organized clinics at a hangar near the 433rd AW flightline and at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center to facilitate the process.
“Our 433rd MDG Reserve Citizen Airmen worked with our active-duty counter parts at the 59th MDG here at Lackland to administer flu shots this UTA drill weekend,” said Col. James M. Bershinsky, 433rd MDG commander. “The 59th MDG graciously provided facilities at Wilford Hall and provided vaccine procurement, along with technological support. Staying medically ready is a total force effort.”
