The Things We Carry

This is a multi-platform campaign for resilience through various video interviews telling personal stories from the Joint Base San Antonio community and highlighting key base resiliency services and helping agencies. Angelina Casarez, 502d Air Base Wing Public Affairs Chief, shares how domestic violence impacted her life, from witnessing it as a child to surviving it as a young adult. In sharing her story, she hopes to show others that there is a way to break the cycle and how it is possible to overcome the trauma of domestic violence. (U.S. Air Force video by Ruth A.
