JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Joint Base San Antonio emergency response officials evacuated staff and personnel following the activation of a fire alarm in Wilford Hall Ambulatory and Surgical Center on JBSA-Lackland at 12:27 p.m. on June 3.
JBSA Fire Chief Michael Guzman confirmed there were no injuries to personnel and no signs of fire or smoke on site.
Fire and emergency personnel discovered a water leak from a faucet had activated the building's fire-detection equipment.
The building has returned to normal operations.
