A former Air Police Sentry Dog handler visited the  U.S. Air Force Security Forces Museum Oct. 26 Monaco visited the base for the Military Working Dog Teams National Monument 10-year celebration Oct. 27 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. 

On March 7, 1972, while serving as a patrolman for the New York City Police Department, retired U.S. Air Force Airman 2nd Class Aneillo Monaco and his partner Brandy, a female German Shepard, identified explosives on a Trans World Airlines aircraft at John F. Kennedy Airport.
