Former Air Police Sentry Dog handler visits Security Forces Museum

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - Retired U.S. Air Force Airman 2nd Class Aneillo Monaco (center), retired U.S. Air Force Col. On March 7, 1972, while serving as a patrolman for the New York City Police Department, Monaco and his partner Brandy, a female German Shepard, identified explosives on a Trans World Airlines aircraft at John F. Kennedy Airport. Monaco visited the base for the Military Working Dog Teams National Monument 10-year celebration Oct. 27 on JBSA-Lackland.
