JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas –
The Air Force selected 2,213 active duty officers for promotion to lieutenant colonel and major during recent CY22E central selection boards.
In total, the Air Force selected 53 majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel in the P0522E Biomedical Sciences Corps and 2,160 captains were selected for promotion to major in P0422E Line of the Air Force, Air Operations and Special Warfare (LAF-A), Combat Support (LAF-C), Force Modernization (LAF-F), Information Warfare (LAF-I), and Nuclear and Missile Operations (LAF-N) developmental categories.
