JBSA 248th Army Ball takes place June 15

The 248th Army Ball takes place from 5-11 p.m. June 15 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center HemisFair Ballroom, located at 900 E. Market St. in downtown San Antonio.

The Army Ball is an annual event that celebrates the achievements and sacrifices of our brave Soldiers who have served and continue to serve our nation with valor and distinction. This year’s event promises to be a memorable one with an evening of fine dining, live music and camaraderie with fellow patriots.

The dress code is formal attire, and it is requested attendees arrive at 5 p.m. for cocktails and socializing. The program will begin at 6 p.m. with the presentation of colors, followed by dinner, our guest speaker retired Gen. Vincent K. Brooks will provide remarks, followed by dancing and entertainment.

Brooks is a career Army officer who recently retired from active duty as the four-star general in command of all US Forces in Korea, where he concurrently commanded United Nations Command as well as the Republic of Korea—US Combined Forces Command comprising over 650,000 Koreans and Americans under arms.
