JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Members of the 502nd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, along with Department of Defense contractors, worked together to load a medical module onto a Royal Canadian Air Force C-130J at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland March 8, 2023.
The medical module was designed for an RCAF C-130J and provides hospital-grade care to seriously ill or highly-contagious patients while in flight. The RCAF will use this technology to execute urgent medical transports within Canada and internationally.
The 502nd LRS is the largest logistics readiness squadron in the Air Force, providing logistics support to 82,000 personnel at the largest joint base in the Department of Defense, spanning 88 square miles.
