By Michael Dukes 315th Airlift Wing Public Affairs

Reporting accountability during events just got easier.  The Air Force Personnel Accountability and Assessment System recently announced that Air Force personnel can now use their mobile app (common access card not needed) to easily report accountability during natural or man-made disasters.

The free app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play apps by searching “AFPAAS.”

App features include:

  • Mobile accounts for you and your dependents
  • Push notifications for real-time AFPAAS disaster event alerts
  • Complete a needs assessment for disaster-related needs
  • Update contact and displacement location information
  • Access helpful disaster-related documents

To log in to the app, use your Department of Defense ID located on your CAC.

In some cases, users will need to log go to https://afpaas.af.mil and click “Reset your password.”  After a successful password reset, you will log in to the app with your DoD ID number and new password.
