19 Airmen selected for senior master sergeant

Nineteen master sergeants assigned to Team Aviano units were selected for promotion to senior master sergeant today.

The senior master sergeant selects are:

Chin Keomanila, 31st Aerospace Medicine Squadron
Ted Kummet, 31st Communications Squadron
Michael Lindstrom, 31st Munitions Squadron
Joel Little, 31st Maintenance Squadron
Michael Miller, 31st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Shawn Minyon, 8th Air Support Operations Squadron
Alicia Mowery, 31st Medical Group
Jim Nelson, 31st Maintenance Squadron
Brian Norman, 31st Munitions Squadron
Sascha Richardson, 31st Operations Support Squadron

Air Force officials selected 1,367 of 12,834 eligible master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant for a 10.65 percent selection rate.

The average overall score for those selected was 673.11. Selectees' average time in grade is 4.02 years and time in service is 18.89 years. Other score averages included 135.00 for enlisted performance reports, 20.63 for decorations and 71.73 for the Promotion Fitness Exam.

Selectee promotions will begin in April, in order of promotion sequence numbers. Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.
