59th MDW services, hours reduced May 22 for Memorial Day

By 59th Medical Wing Public Affairs 59th Medical Wing Public Affairs

Medical treatment facilities at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland and JBSA-Randolph will have limited services available May 22.

Primary care clinics, such as Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatric, BHOP, Flight Medicine, and WOMC, as well as the Gateway Bulverde Family Practice Clinic, located at the intersection of Highway 281 and Overlook Parkway, will remain open for virtual same-day appointments. All specialty clinics will be closed.

For medical emergencies, dial 911 or visit the nearest Emergency Department. As a reminder, the WHASC Urgent Care Center at JBSA-Lackland and Brooke Army Medical Center Emergency Room at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston are open 24 hours a day.

For non-urgent medical questions, the Nurse Advice Line offers Nursing advice by phone, chat, or video and can be reached at 1-800-TRICARE. Non-Active Duty patients may visit your nearest Urgent Care Center without a referral for urgent medical concerns.

The JBSA-Lackland and JBSA-Randolph main pharmacies will be open May 22 with limited services.

The JBSA-Gateway Bulverde Pharmacy, JBSA-Lackland Pharmacy curbside, and JBSA-Randolph satellite pharmacy services will be closed May 22-25 in observance of Memorial Day. Consider bringing in prescriptions or ordering refills for pick up prior to May 22, since the day prior to and the day after a holiday are usually extremely busy and results in longer than normal wait times.
