Medical Professional Training Brigade welcomes new command sergeant major

Command Sgt. Maj. Jennifer A. Redding assumed responsibility of the Medical Professional Training Brigade in a ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston May 22.
 

Redding comes to the Army Medical Department Center & School, Health Readiness Center of Excellence from the 1st Medical Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas, where she served as the command sergeant major. Outgoing Command Sgt. Maj. Jodi Stanley is transitioning to her next assignment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

A diverse brigade, with a cadre of more than 700 active duty and civilian personnel, the Medical Professional Training Brigade consists of the 187th Medical Battalion and 188th Medical Brigade. It is responsible for the School of Leadership, the AMEDDC&S Graduate School, the Center for Pre-Hospital Medicine, the AMEDD Student Detachment, the School of Health Readiness, the School of Allied Health Services, the School of Nursing Science, and the School of Army Aviation Medicine Detachment.
