JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Col. David Enfield, 433rd Mission Support Group commander, spoke to members of the San Antonio Area Eagle Scout Alumni Association at their monthly meeting at Chester's Hamburgers March 8, 2017. Enfield gave a mission brief and explained the positive impact that the wing has on the city of San Antonio.
Enfield follows a long list of prominent individuals to speak to the group.
"We have had many distinguished guests speak to our group including the former Homeland Security director, former Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Michael Hagee, and San Antonio Food Bank CEO, Eric Cooper." said Tripp Holmgrain, executive director of the S.A.A.E.S.A.A. "The associations goal is to provide fellowship and support for scouting."
The association also sponsors Troop 1021 on the south-side of San Antonio, providing underprivileged youth with an opportunity at scouting.
