Maj. Gen. Irving Halter, outgoing 19th Air Force commander, was honored by fellow Airmen, friends and family during his final, or "fini," flight July 28. General Halter flew a T-38 Talon for his flight and upon his return was welcomed by firefighters dousing him with hundreds of gallons of water and friends and family showering him with warm wishes.
