JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas - U.S. Space Force trainees from 1st Delta Operations Squadron Detachment 1 stand at parade rest while wearing the new Space Force Physical Training Uniform March 8, 2024, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The day marked the beginning of the Space Force roll-out of its PTU, its first finalized service-specific uniform. The Space Force will celebrate its fifth anniversary Dec. 20, 2024; this rollout is significant as the youngest military service continues building its culture and identity.
