TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - The WOB System processes used oil to provide hot water in remote operating locations. It can generate hot water at a rate of 80 gallons per hour for personal hygiene, cooking, laundry, and larger applications like vehicle wash racks. The system reduces waste oil disposal costs and has minimal to no environmental impact. AFCEC has a significant role in climate change initiatives intended to enhance resiliency at Air Force installations by addressing the risks severe weather poses to infrastructure, operational capabilities and readiness as outlined in the Department of the Air Force Climate Campaign Plan.
