232nd Medical Battalion welcomes new commander

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Lt. Col. Genna Speed (right), incoming commander of the 232nd Medical Battalion, addresses the audience and Soldiers during the battalion’s change of command ceremony at the U.S. Army Medical Department Amphitheater at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston June 13. The change of command ceremony recognized the change of leadership from Lt. Col. Manuel Menendez, outgoing commander, to the incoming commander. A former combat medic originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Speed participated in the Army Medical Department Enlisted Commissioning Program.
