JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Students in the Combat Medic Specialist Training Program, or CMSTP, assess a simulated casualty during a field training exercise at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis. Face coverings are required by all students and staff in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. During the last two weeks of training, CMSTP students prepare for and conduct a non-stop, 72-hour operational exercise during which they are assessed on all the skills learned since their first day.
