Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class Deron Davis, a recruiter with Navy Recruiting Station Hollywood Park judges a speed race of underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROV) during a SeaPerch Competition held at the Ann Barshop Natatorium on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word as a part of the miniGEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math and Sciences) program.  SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater ROV in an in-school or out-of-school setting.
