Installation of new antiterrorism "pop-up" barricades is scheduled to begin at the Air Intelligence Agency Gate on Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, March 1. Construction should be completed by March 7. Drivers using this gate, also known as the Security Hill Gate, will see a temporary shift in the traffic pattern once on base. Drivers entering the base must remain in the far right lane because the left inbound lane will be converted to an outbound lane. Drivers will be able to exit the gate on the traditional side of the gate. Although the barriers are typically installed within three to four days, the remaining days are required for the concrete to cure. (Courtesy of the 37th Civil Engineer Squadron)
