Maj. Bill Dorsey, from the 12th Flying Training Wing plays the bugle during a flag lowering ceremony at Randolph Air Force Base?s flagpole at the 12th Flying Training Wing Headquarters Building at 6 a.m. May 3.  The flag was lowered to half staff in remembrance of Maj. Jeff Ausborn who was killed in Kabul, Afghanistan, April 27.  Major Ausborn was a member of the 99th Flying Training Squadron from Randolph and members of his squadron and from throughout the 12 FTW held the ceremony in his honor.  A memorial service takes place May 3 at 10 a.m. at the base theater. At the time of his death, Major Ausborn, a 19-year Air Force veteran, was serving as a C-27 instructor pilot at the 438th Air Expeditionary Wing in Kabul, Afghanistan.(U.S. Air Force photo/Rich McFadden)
