U.S. Army North gets assist from Logistics Civil Augmentation Program in Puerto Rico relief efforts

Shown is a part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Task Force power project. LOGCAP provided logistics support to the downloading of ships at the Port of Ponce in Puerto Rico. This sea port served as a debarkation point for receipt, inventory and issue of electrical materials used in the reconstruction of the electrical grid.

BAMC Mobile Medics deploy in support of hurricane victims

Members of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard, Reserve and active duty, along with Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Buchanan, U.S. Army North commander; Brig. Gen. José Reyes, Dual Status commander; and Caguas Mayor Hon. William Miranda Torres, distributed food and water to residents of the neighborhood Borinquen, Oct. 14. Reyes, Buchanan and Marín handed over provisions to the people who were grateful for the help received and were seriously affected by Hurricane Maria.

Texas C-5M delivers supplies to Puerto Rico

A Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) vehicle is unloaded from an Air Force Reserve Command’s 433rd Airlift Wing C-5M Super Galaxy at Ceiba, Puerto Rico Oct. 1, 2017. The C-5M, flown by Reserve Citizen Airmen from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, took the JISCC, 11 Soldiers,  supplies and two fuel trucks to Puerto Rico to aid hurricane recovery efforts that have affected the United States and its territories  in the Caribbean.
