Military, community and family members cut the ribbon to officially open the Vogel Resiliency Center Jan. 5. Pictured, from left, are Air Force Brig. Gen. The Vogel Resiliency Center brings together eight entities of resiliency services to one location. This facility is unique to Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and unique in the Army. The Vogel Resiliency Center is in building 367 located at the corner of Stanley and Reynolds Roads.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Now Full-Service in San Antonio

Retired Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Peter Collins (left), Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) chief operations officer, and Rear Adm. Rebecca McCormick-Boyle, commander, Navy Medicine Education, Training and Logistics Command, and senior Navy officer in San Antonio, cut a ceremonial ribbon at the NMCRS San Antonio branch on board Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston. NMCRS opened up a small, limited-functioning office in San Antonio in January 2015 but has grown with the Navy population in the area and just celebrated the opening of a full-service branch.
