12th FTW NCO chosen as ‘Hidden Hero’

Tech. Sgt. Derius Jackson, 12th Training Squadron flight chief, was recognized as the "Hidden Hero" for January by the Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee Jan. 21 at the Schertz monthly Chamber luncheon. Jackson has volunteered his time with the Habitat for Humanity and the San Antonio Food Bank helping provide more than 2,000 meals for children in the community. In addition to his volunteering Jackson also served as the president of the Randolph 5/6 organization.

12th Flying Training Wing historian recognized by AETC

Bourgeois was honored with the 2019 Wing Excellence in History Programs award from Air Education and Training Command June 12. Lane received Air Education and Training Command's 2019 Wing Excellence in History Programs award for his critical thinking presentations and being the first wing to produce a historical study in the new format.
