JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – In an effort to streamline communication on social media across the installation, beginning today, the Joint Base San Antonio Public Affairs office has merged its eight official social media accounts into single official JBSA Facebook and Twitter feeds that will span the entire installation.
Effective immediately, all official information, including media releases, will be released only on JBSA’s official social media accounts on Facebook (search JointBaseSanAntonio) and on Twitter at @JBSA_Official.
Location specific Facebook and Twitter accounts at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland and JBSA-Randolph will no longer be updated with new content and will be eliminated; all users going to those pages will be directed to the JBSA official Facebook and Twitter accounts.
