435th supports F-22 training
A Randolph Air Force Base T-38 Talon sits on the flight line at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., while an F-22 Raptor taxis for takeoff July 18. Pilots from the 435th Flying Training Squadron here, were asked to play the aggressing force against pilots from the 325th Fighter Wing in a week-long sortie training mission. Tasking the T-38s to act as the aggressors cost 85 percent less in fuel and operating expenses than using either F-15s or F-16s. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Veronica McMahon)
