While everyone can get a skin cancer screening, but some people are at higher risk. Are you 25 years or older? Fit the below categories? Schedule a screening with our dermatology team at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center with no referral required.
Risk factors for skin cancer:
- Fair skin that burns or freckles easily
- Blond or red hair
- Light-colored eyes, such as blue or green
- History of sunburns or tanning bed use
- A job requiring extended time outdoors
- Family or personal history of skin cancer
- Having more than 50 moles

This exam is offered to TRICARE beneficiaries aged 25 and older who have not had an appointment with WHASC Dermatology within the past year.
These appointments are first-come, first-serve and are for skin cancer screening only. For all other skin, hair, or nail concerns, contact your primary care provider for a dermatology consult.
