JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas –
San Antonio drivers may experience travel delays on Saturday, Feb. 10, as the U.S. Air Force and Joint Base San Antonio honor the fifth chief master sergeant of the Air Force, Robert D. Gaylor. A preplanned procession of about 40 vehicles will travel from JBSA-Lackland to the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery beginning around noon.
The memorial service at the Gateway Chapel on JBSA-Lackland is from 10 to 11 a.m. and the interment with full military honors at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
There is a potential for increased traffic on US Highway 90 eastbound and US Highway 281 northbound between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
