Two doctors at Brooke Army Medical Center were recently awarded the Army Surgeon General Physician Recognition Award.
Capt. (Dr.) Juliette Conte is a Department of Emergency Medicine doctor and Lt. Col. (Dr.) Luis Rohena is the deputy chief of the Department of Pediatrics and the chief of medical genetics at Brooke Army Medical Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
This award, known as The Maj. Gen. Lewis Aspey Mologne Award, recognizes military leadership and academic excellence and is presented annually for outstanding leadership in military and academic medicine.
This annual award is named in honor of Maj. Gen. Lewis Aspey Mologne, who together with his wife Rose (Galiardi) Mologne, provided care and support to the nation’s sons and daughters from 1961 to 1988.
