Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) welcomed Brig. Gen. (Select) Melissa Stone June 14, 2022. Stone replaces Brig. Gen. Bradley Pyburn as the Sixteenth Air Force deputy commander, responsible for the operations of more than 44,000 personnel conducting worldwide operations.
Stone previously served as the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing commander at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, where she led the Air Force's all-source analysis and full spectrum targeting enterprises for Combined Forces Air Component Commanders worldwide, airborne ISR for sensitive joint special operations globally, and directed ISR testing, tactics development, and advanced training for air, space and cyber operations.
