October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, or NDEAM. The U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence hosts the National Disability Employment Awareness Month virtual observance at 11 a.m. Oct. 27. The theme is “Don't Set Limits on Unlimited Potential!”

This observance will be live streamed on the MEDCoE Facebook page at @medicalCoE at 11:30 a.m. This event is sponsored by the 232nd Medical Battalion. Guest speaker is retired Capt. John Arroyo.

This event is to reaffirm the commitment to equal opportunity for all and to recognize the countless achievements and contributions to the nation made by people with disabilities. NDEAM observances date back to World War II and the return of service members with disabilities to the workplace.
