By Connie Dickey 5th Recruiting Brigade Public Affairs

The U.S. Army 5th Recruiting Brigade conducted a virtual change of command ceremony at 10:30 a.m. July 10 at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.

With COVID-19 still placing people at high risk, the command decided to conduct a virtual ceremony to limit the number of participants to ensure the health and safety of the men in women in the command.

During the ceremony, Col. Roman J. Cantu relinquished command of the 5th Recruiting Brigade to Col. La'Tonya N. Jordan.

Maj. Gen. Frank M. Muth, commanding general, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, presided over the event via a teleconference connection and thanked Cantu for his performance and the many achievements of the 5th Recruiting Brigade.
