Traffic was lined up all the way down 5th Street West as folks waited to collect Christmas trees donated by Trees for Troops at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Dec. 7. This year, there were 165 Christmas trees available.

Since 2005, the organization has collected and donated over 176,000 trees for military families. FedEx has logged over 653,400 miles for this charity in the United States alone. They deliver the Christmas trees to 65 military bases, either in the U.S. or overseas.
