JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas –
From leading Family Readiness Groups, Key Spouses and Ombudsman to coaching youth sports, coordinating PTA meetings and organizing military spouse clubs to supporting our wounded warriors and lending a helping hand at our hospitals, libraries, administrative offices, and museums – volunteers are the foundation of our military community.
They lend their skills, time, and heart to help service members, family members, retirees and civilians.
It’s their acts that strengthen and enrich the community. This year, during National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 15-21, Joint Base San Antonio Military & Family Readiness is hosting several events to recognize volunteers and thank them for all that they do.
