JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas –
U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Paul G. McKenna visited Army personnel assigned to U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston March 21. McKenna spent time talking with the Soldiers and learning what they do and how their unity of effort drives the strength of the nation.

McKenna also toured the new Vogel Resiliency Center, taking a keen interest in how the facility is paving the way for increased readiness and resilience for all service members, family members and Department of Defense civilians assigned to the Joint Base San Antonio community.
McKenna is the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Headquarters, North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. He is the principal advisor to the Commander on all enlisted matters.
His responsibilities include providing the Commander with the enlisted perspective on strategic vision, goals, objectives, theater security cooperation, and enlisted professional development.
