BOSS Strong competitors keep first aid in mind

By Robert Dozier IMCOM Public Affairs

The BOSS Strong Championship included events which enable and enhance the development of the individual Soldier and the balance and performance of the team, even when presented with a casualty on the battlefield.

World Class Athletes conducted First Aid training called "Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3)" and incorporated the lessons so they will contribute to the overall score of each team in the competition.

Soldiers were graded in two-man teams, including their coaches, on how they perform in three basic first aid skills designed to save lives on the battlefield.
