Fellow competitors, sponsor and cadre motivate Staff Sgt. Michael Floore (center) as he nears the finish of a 12-mile foot march carrying a 35-pound ruck as part of the 2017 Army Contracting Command Best Warrior Competition June 8 at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis. Floore was one of seven Soldiers from throughout the command vying for the best warrior title over five days of competition and right to represent ACC at the Army Materiel Command level in July. The competition included several events aimed at testing the tactical skills of contracting NCOs in the 51-Charlie military occupational specialty. Floore is a contract specialist with the 410th Contracting Support Brigade at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston.
